Today Women4Cyber Luxembourg was truly honored to welcome the amazing team from the Women in Tech Kosovo Chapter to the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity as part of their study tour for the “Skills for Sustainable Jobs in Kosovo” project.
The study tour for students who completed modular short-term training programs in Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Emerging Technologies trained by Women in Tech program had the opportunity to visit Luxembourg from the 13th to the 17th of April. The main objective of this visit is to equip the delegation with the expertise and capacity needed to implement effective and secure digital transformation strategies and promote women’s inclusion in the digital economy and society.
Women Cyber Force and WESTEM+ shared ideas, experiences, and real-world practices that support women’s inclusion in cybersecurity and the wider digital economy. We also had the chance to showcase how, in a small country like ours, tight-knit communities can come together to thrive — working hand in hand to build a future that’s inclusive, diverse, and empowering for all.
This initiative — funded by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and implemented by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation of Kosovo and LuxDev — brought to life what cross-border collaboration can really look like when it’s fueled by purpose.
We had rich conversations about:
- How to attract and retain women in cyber
- The role of bootcamps, mentorship, and corporate partnerships
- Building inclusive and future-ready talent pipelines
- Cyber bullying and best cyber hygiene practices for kids
We’re walking away inspired by the energy, ambition, and openness of the Kosovo delegation — and full of hope for what’s to come.
Thank you to everyone who made this exchange so meaningful. This is just the beginning — let’s keep building, together.
