We’re excited to share that Women4Cyber Luxembourg is kicking off an amazing new journey—and this is the very first time we’re doing it!
This initiative is all about empowering young individuals between the ages of 18 and 26 who are passionate about inspiring and supporting the next generation of women in cybersecurity.
Youth Ambassadors are chosen by Women4Cyber National Chapters to take on an active role at the national level. The ambassadors help organize events, raise awareness about cybersecurity careers, and encourage young women to get involved in this field through both online platforms and face-to-face activities.
As a Youth Ambassador, AYAH THARWAT, PhD Researcher SnT, Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust will have the opportunity to connect with a fantastic network of cybersecurity professionals and peers.
As a PhD researcher in cybersecurity at the SnT, Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust, Ayah dives into understanding the ever-evolving landscape of emerging tech threats with a user-focused approach. For me, cybersecurity isn’t just about protecting systems—it’s about understanding the people behind the decisions that impact security. It’s about filling the gaps in knowledge that can make all the difference in staying safe online.
I’m thrilled to be a Youth Ambassador for Women4Cyber and can’t wait to work with so many brilliant minds to help shape a more resilient digital future. What draws me to cybersecurity is the way it blends technology and human behavior, and how it constantly evolves to keep us safe in an ever-changing world.
