2025 kicks off with the exciting launch of GirlsInSciTech, and Women Cyber Force (WCF) is thrilled to have been part of this incredible event!
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the amazing University of Luxembourg and the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine team for organizing such an inspiring event.
It was fantastic to attend an event dedicated to showcasing incredible women in STEM+ industries and careers, and the growing support network in Luxembourg. The event addressed various topics and challenges faced by female students entering these fields, including social, cultural, and family influences, as well as the negative effects on their career choices. Representation remained a key focus, emphasizing the importance of visibility in gender diversity.
The STEM fields have immense potential for diversity of thought and improvement, but without action, these opportunities remain untapped. Organizations like Women Cyber Force, and WeSTEM+ exist to create and showcase role models and opportunities, helping the world reach its maximum potential.
